Automatic Information

We receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with us. For example, like many web sites, we use cookies and obtain certain types of information when your Web browser accesses COINdata LLC’s web site. Information You Provide

When you sign up for services from or through COINdata LLC that require registration, we ask you for personal information (such as your dealer name, email address, an account password, or access account number previously provided to you by COINdata LLC). For certain services, such as storage or retrieval of documents on our system; purchase of supplies; software; or other products or services, we may request credit card or other payment account information which we maintain in encrypted form on secure servers.

Email and Other User Communications

When you send email or other communication to COINdata LLC we may retain those communications in order to process your inquiries, respond to your requests, and improve our services.

Definitions

Personal Information is information that you provide to us which personally identifies you or your dealership, such as your name; email address or billing information; or other data which can be reasonably linked to such information by COINdata LLC.

Sensitive Personal Information includes information we know to be related to confidential medical information, racial or ethnic origins, political or religious beliefs, or sexuality, and tied to personal information.

Aggregated Non-Personal Information is user information that is recorded collected into groups so that it no longer reflects or references an individually identifiable user.

Personal Information and Choices

When you register for a particular service offered by COINdata LLC which service requires registration, we ask that you provide personal information. If we wish to use this information in a manner other than the purpose for which it was collected, then we will ask for your consent prior to such use. If we propose to use personal information for any purposes other than those described in this Policy and/or in the specific service notices, we will offer you an effective way to opt out of the use of personal information for those other purposes. Under no circumstances will we collect or use sensitive personal information unless specifically consented by you in advance. You may, however, decline to submit any personal information to COINdata LLC in such case COINdata LLC may not be able to provide the services for which you seek to register.

Updating Personal Information

COINdata LLC will make good faith efforts to provide you with access to your personal information and either to correct this data if it is inaccurate or to delete such data at your request if it is not otherwise required to be retained by law or for legitimate business purposes. We ask individual users to identify themselves through appropriate login and passwords, and the information requested to be accessed; corrected; or removed before processing such requests. COINdata LLC may decline to process requests that, in our sole opinion, may jeopardize the privacy of others or for which access is not otherwise required, or similar inappropriate requests.

Information Sharing

COINdata LLC may only share personal information with other companies or individuals outside of COINdata LLC in the following limited circumstances: (i) We have your consent. We require opt-in consent for the sharing of any sensitive personal information; (ii) We provide such information to our subsidiaries, affiliated companies, or other trusted businesses or persons for the purpose of processing personal information on our behalf. THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE SELLING, RENTING, SHARING, OR OTHERWISE DISCLOSING PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION OF OR FROM YOU OR OUR USERS FOR COMMERCIAL PURPOSES IN VIOLATION OF THE COMMITMENTS SET FORTH IN THIS PRIVACY NOTICE. Other than as set out above, you will receive notice when information about you might go to third parties, and you will have an opportunity to choose not to share the information.

Information Security

COINdata LLC takes appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure, or destruction of data. These include internal reviews of our data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures, as well as physical security measures to guard against unauthorized access to systems where we store personal data. COINdata LLC restricts access to personal information to COINdata LLC employees and contractors and agents who need to know that information in order to operate, develop, or improve our services. These individuals are bound by confidentiality obligations and may be subject to discipline, including termination and criminal prosecution, if they fail to meet these obligations.

Data Integrity

COINdata LLC processes personal information only for the purposes for which it was collected and in accordance with this policy or any applicable service-specific privacy notice, or as pursuant to a separate written agreement between COINdata LLC and an authorized user. COINdata LLC regularly reviews our data collection, storage and processing practices to ensure that we only collect, store, and process the personal information needed to provide or improve our services. COINdata LLC will post any policy changes on this page and, if the changes are significant, will provide a more prominent notice (including, for certain services, email notification).
